Crypto im Kontext is a German-language podcast hosted by Anton Werner and Martin Bechter. It's built for professional private investors, family offices, and wealth managers across the German-speaking world who want to understand this emerging and still broadly misunderstood asset class holistically, objectively, and without hype. The podcast features guests from across the crypto industry and traditional finance: forward-thinkers and innovators in their respective fields, regulators shaping the rulebook, and builders driving the technology itself. On current and pressing topics, Anton and Martin take the mic themselves, always breaking things down from an investor's point of view rather than a purely technical one. Why this podcast
Crypto is still young, fast-moving, and genuinely complex. It demands a serious amount of learning, and most people who dismiss it outright simply haven't put in the time. At the same time, the space itself doesn't make this easy: it's loud, often confusing, and full of noise that drowns out the signal. We've spent thousands of hours ourselves reading and listening just to get a clear, grounded understanding, and we built this podcast to give investors a shortcut. We're investors ourselves, immersed in crypto around the clock, not commentators watching from the sidelines. That's the perspective we bring to every conversation, and it's why we can help investors navigate this asset class with confidence.
Digital assets in the DACH region are often either hyped or ignored. We wanted a place where sophisticated investors get the topics they actually need: portfolio logic, regulation, and market structure, in conversation with the people shaping them.
